Claire M. Houston (Henny) Passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on December 1, 1940, Claire was the beloved daughter of the late George and Catherine Henny. Claire built a life rooted in love and family, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Claire was the cherished wife of the late Robert A. Houston, Jr. and a dedicated mother to her children John G. (Michele), Katherine Niagara (Joseph), Claire Goodman (Keith), and her late son, Robert A. 3rd (Martha). She was a proud grandmother to Bobby, Tony, Nick, Taylor, Michael, Johnny, Joe, Katie, Sammy, Richie, and Rachael. Her heart was fullest around her great-grandchildren, Kole, Delaney, and Henry, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her dear sister, Bernice Marasco and many nieces and nephews. A lifelong fan of Disney and a lover of life's simple pleasures--especially junk food--Claire found happiness in the laughter and company of her family. She was an active member of the Girl Scouts in her earlier years and valued time spent creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 7341 Cottage St., Philadelphia, PA 19136. Where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
