Doris M Small

With deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Doris M Small, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend on December 21, 2025. A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Doris M was born on August 21, 1939, to George Brinkman and Catherine Wolf.

Doris was a woman of many passions. She had a deep love for traveling, exploring the world, and bringing back countless stories and experiences to share with her loved ones. She found joy in remodeling her home, an activity she loved sharing with her late husband, Donald. Her exceptional taste and talent for wallpapering turned their house into a warm and inviting home. A unique hobby of hers was collecting lunchboxes, teddy bears, and Hummels, which she displayed with pride.

Doris is survived by her sons, Scott (Jennifer) and David ( Danyale) Small; grandsons, Matthew, Austin, and Cameron Small; and her sister, Kathleen Brinkman. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald, and her parents, George Brinkman and Catherine Wolf. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and the simple joys in life.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian burial 10:30 am Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. Matthew Church 3000 Cottman Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19149.
Interment will be private.
