Hazel B. Hummel

On her 78th birthday, surrounded by her family, Hazel B. Hummel (nee Lucas) was called to her heavenly home. She was a woman of faith to the end, never wavering in her trust in God.Hazel was the beloved wife of Thomas L. Hummel, Sr. for 55 years. She was the loving mother of her 10 children: Thomas L. Hummel, Jr. (Betsy), Betty D. Figueroa (Rogelio Jr.), Lindley D. Hummel, Earl W. R. Hummel (Jane), Royce A. Hummel (Jodi), Kerry D. Hummel (Mandy), William A. Hummel (Megan), Penny A. Clark (Brian), Jay E. Hummel (Stacy), and Clint R. Hummel (Erin). Grandmother of 30 grandchildren: David and Lauren Hummel; Amber Carlson (Brian), Alejandra Ochoa (Justin Loder), Sarah and Angela Figueroa; Isabel and Tristan Hummel; Amanda DiZio (Eddie Mortan), Anna, Earl Jr, Sophia, and Luke Hummel; Courtney Krout (Douny), Royce (late), and Tess Hummel; Shaylah, Logan (late), Keegan, Sienna, Trinity, Jayce, and Raya Hummel; Liam Hummel; Edward and Amelia Clark; Coralie, Tea, Bennett, and Emerson Hummel. Hazel is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren Alexander, Jeremy, Nicholas, Jackson, Sophia, Eddie Jr, Briella, Ava, and Reece.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at John F. Fluehr & Sons, 3301 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149 from 6-8pm; and again on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 9-11am. A funeral service will begin at 11am; interment to be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
