Joanne Merrigan

Joanne T. Merrigan, passed on February 28, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, on August 25, 1942, to the late Anthony Petrille and Jennie Micucci. Joanne was a spirited woman who embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm.

Joanne, a dedicated Secretary in the Limousine Transportation business, lived a rich and rewarding life. Despite the odds, she carried herself with grace and determination. Her bright spirit was a source of inspiration to those around her. She was a symbol of strength and resilience.

She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her grandson, William Merrigan, Jr., granddaughter Lexi Butchin (Matthew), brother Donald Petrille (Eileen), great-granddaughter Vanna Butchin, and great-grandson Bradley Butchin. She was preceded in death by her daughter Denise Merrigan, her son William Merrigan, Sr. (Cheryl), brother Anthony Petrille, and her dear friend Patrick Brady.

A memorial service to celebrate Joanne's life will be held at John F. Fluehr & Sons, Inc, located at 3301 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19149, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:00am. The memorial service will be immediately followed by light fare and refreshments.
