Joseph Stahl

Joseph Thomas Stahl, born May 18, 1950, in Philadelphia, passed away on March 7, 2026. He was the son of William & Elizabeth Stahl. He was predeceased by his brothers William, John, James, and his sister Elizabeth. Joe graduated from Father Judge High School and retired from the city of Philadelphia. He enjoyed telling stories of the many departments he was involved in from parks and recreation, sanitation, driving the Zamboni on the ice rinks, snow removal at the stadiums, and many more areas he could contribute. Joe loved playing softball and fishing. You could count on Joe always sending funny and humorous birthday cards. He was always the go to Uncle that helped everyone move out of their childhood homes when off to school, or their first apartment, and then their dream home. Joe enjoyed taking long drives listening to his music and was not in a hurry to arrive at the destination but enjoyed the experience. Many years ago, he received a DVD player from his nephew which led to countless hours of enjoyment collecting and watching various genres of film and tv series. He will be remembered for bringing fun novelty gifts or large box of chocolates for the holidays. He will be greatly missed. Service and burial will be private.
