Margaret Ann Greiner

Margaret Ann (Marge) Greiner (nee Donaghy), 89, a longtime residence of Mayfair and recently resided in Huntingdon Valley, peacefully passed away on August 5, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of her predeceased husband, Edwin G. Greiner of 64 years. She was the loving mother of Maryhelen Foglia (Dennis), Joe Greiner (Wendy), Tricia Kueny (Charles) and Margaret Ann Buck (Blaine T.) Devoted Nana of Sarah Irwin (Jorge), Jennifer McDevitt (Ryan) and Courtney Foglia, Samantha Smith (Braden), Joseph Greiner, Jr. (Katie), and Kerri Ann Greiner, Letitia Kueny, Celeste Leary (Joe) and Carlie Kueny, Blaine P. Buck (Christine), Jessica Mitchell (Steffon) and Eric Buck. Proud Nanners of 13 great grandchildren Cara, James, Ryan, Mia, Olivia, Joshua, Peyton and Madelyn, Barrett, Jadeyn, Blaine M., Brinley, Sophia and Ava.

She was predeceased by her parents James and Helen Donaghy, her brother James Donaghy and her sister MaryEllen Daino, brothers-in-law Charles Greiner and Joseph Daino, and survived by her sisters-in-law Barbara Greiner and Janet Donaghy. Also many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was the librarian for 10 years and then a long-time volunteer librarian for St. Matthew's parochial school.

She loved to travel with her husband Ed and loved spending time with her family. She was affectionately known as Nanners or Nanners Bananers by her grandkids and great grandkids.

She enjoyed cooking family dinners on Sundays, reading, knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles. She will be unbelievably missed by her family, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Rd, Rydal PA 19046 from 9:00 to 10:15 am. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 A rite of committal will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's hospital.
