Robert E. Evans, of Philadelphia, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 82.
Robert lived a life rooted in generosity, a trait that was evident in every relationship he nurtured. Known for his thoughtful nature, Robert touched countless lives with his kindness and willingness to extend a helping hand. His life was a testament to the belief that the greatest joy in life comes from giving, not receiving. A proud Philadelphian all his life, Robert made his mark as a Systems Analyst at Whitman's Chocolates before retiring. Following his retirement, he found immense satisfaction as a teacher at Bensalem High School, where he shared his wealth of knowledge with eager young minds.
An avid gardener, Robert found peace among his beloved plants and flowers. His passion for history and reading added depth to his character, making conversations with him an enlightening experience. As a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Tacony Brown Lodge, he lived his values of brotherly love, relief, and truth. Robert's life was full, not of years, but of cherished experiences and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by his partner, Virginia Kloczynski, and his nieces and nephew - Christina, Ashley, Tracy, Britt and Danny. His memory will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to know him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Evans and Margaret Kelleher, his brother, William Evans, and his niece, Jennifer.
