Robert "Bob" W. Myers

Robert W. Myers, a devoted husband and cherished family member, passed away on August 29, 2025. He was 69 years old.Born on November 5, 1955, in Philadelphia, PA, Bob was the beloved son of the late Robert and Irene Myers. A lifelong Philadelphian, he was a graduate of Northeast High School, where he built the foundation for a life marked by hard work, sincerity, and generosity of spirit.For more than 30 years, Bob worked as a skilled mechanic for SEPTA, bringing his reliability and tireless work ethic to an essential role in his community. Whether under the hood or in his everyday life, he could always be counted on to lend a hand and share a kind word.Above all else, Bob was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Tess Myers (nee Ebba), whom he affectionately called "Sweets." Their deep bond was a true partnership, and those who knew Bob knew that his world revolved around her. He also found joy and pride in his stepchildren, Ron Williams and Jen Williams, embracing them as his own with love and support.Bob is survived by his siblings Joyce Schaler (Wally), Diane Budzilowski, and David Myers. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss his thoughtful nature, friendly presence, and unwavering love for family.A Funeral Service will be held for Bob on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 at 10:30 located at John F. Fluehr and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services at 3301 Cottman Ave. Phila. PA. 19149. Where a viewing will be held from 9am-10:30am.
